Welcome to Crafternoons!
After such a lovely session basket weaving last time, we want to create a similar welcoming and warm space for people to get together and get creative.
This time we are going to offer a range of crafty ideas for you to play with. We have plenty of feathers to make jewellery from, beeswax to make candles with, wool from alpacas to spin with (from Sid the alpaca our neighbours farm – see pictures below), or wool to knit with. Come along and warm up by the fire, drink some tea and learn a new craft to carry you through winter. This is a free event and everyone is welcome to come. It is suitable for all ages and a great opportunity to learn from one another.
We welcome homegrown food to share with the group or to be swapped in our shop. We offer honey, preserves, jams, nuts, vinegar, seasonal fruit and veg and baked goods for purchase or trade.
Everyone is welcome and we especially encourage new local residents to attend. For more info email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 4568 2036.
